Learning Disabilites Week 2022 Event Listings
Kirklees Involvement Network (Cloverleaf Advocacy) has been working hard to put together a week full of events to celebrate Learning Disabilities Week 2022
Including opportunities to meet the Learning Disabilities nursing team, have a socially distanced picnic in the park or celebrate learning disabilities week with a free swim session, there is something for everyone.

Monday 20th June 2022:
It’s My Health day, 10am – 2pm
The Huddersfield Methodist Mission, Lord Street, Huddersfield
The session will run from 10am – 2pm with a break for lunch.
For people with a learning disability, their carers and supporters
This event is to raise awareness around the importance of health for people with a learning disability: Health stalls, Yoga, Mindfulness and Sensory stories.
Free Splashpark session
Huddersfield Leisure Centre, 7-9pm
Open exclusively for people with a disability from 7-8 pm, then free swim till 9 pm

Annual Picnic in the Park Event
Greenhead Park, 11am -2pm
Top driveway at Greenhead park (along the drive and on the grassed area opposite the tennis courts near the café as usual)
Entertainment from Ali Bullivant, Xylosound and Valley Beats. Information and stalls. Bring your own picnic and seating. This event will be 11am – 2pm
