Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) Older People's Service (South Kirklees)

I saw someone about my mental health and then it was almost 2 years before I spoke to anyone else again and no explanation as t why was given.

This service is not fit for purpose. Below is the Vision, mission & values statement on the Folly halls mills website for the so called services they say they will provide:-

It is the 'Trust Behaviours' they promise to provide being the main issue I have with them and quite simply not doing all the things they say they will - any of the time!!! I have tried to lodge an official complaint numerous times over the last 6 years but i am fobbed off repeatedly & no one gets back to me to deal with my complaint about the services that are NOT BEING PROVIDED.... Which dosn't surprise me as they are not much better at providing any kind of real help or support in the same way! . I have had to safeguard myself by resorting to recording all meetings 'just in case I need to use it as evidence' on advice from the citzens advice & I advise all service users to do the same to protect yourself from the lack of accountability that happens too often with this service. The samaritans and other charites are often better at helping in my times of need thatn the actual service that is paid to provide a service for me - which is surely insane in itself isn't for the mental health service to tell you to call the samiatians if you are suicidal & vulnerable?!? Isn't that what the mental health, itensive home based treatment team & other so called crisis intervention services are qualified & paid to do?????????! I am so disappointed with this service I could write a book on the list of failures I have known as a service user & the positives on a post it note in summary....
I CANNOT - HAND ON HEART - SAY I HAVE RECEIVED ANY OF THE SERVICES THEY SAY WILL PROVIDE ON ALL OF THESE STATEMENTS - OVER A 10 YEAR PERIOD OF USING THE SERVICES & IT HAS BEEN WORSE THAN EVER OVER THE LAST 2-3 YEARS SINCE THE SO CALLED IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SERVICE HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED...
