Huddersfield Royal Infirmary (HRI)

My wife was admitted to hospital, With suspected sepsis. We waited too long for treatment - 4 hours. Further complications arose and was then transferred to st James, Leeds. This treatment overall took too long, with fatal consequences.

I attended my appointment at the eye clinic at HRI and was sent home. Shortly after this I was sent 2 duplicate appointments both from Calderdale royal and HRI. This concerned me as I thought it was a recall appointment and something was not right with my health. Only to discover this was an admin error.

Treatment has been given so quickly.. Excellent treatment staff are wonderful . Ward 7staff really good

Compared to cut backs. We all always treated fantastically . Good information and caring. Happy to help made me feel comfortable

it is busy but never have to wait more than 5 minute. Sometimes I have to cancel the appointment and I email them and they re-arrange the appointment for me. I have to pay to park if I am over 30 minutes. I do accept the health authority has to get reasonable payment

The staff were fantastic. My husband went recently and had to have a scan on his brain. We were sorted and got the results by 9am the next day. The ambulatory centre was fantastic and relaxing.

On returning from India, i didn't feel well and i went to A&E. They did lots of blood tests but didn't find anything and sent me off. I called my son and he came to pick me up because i didn't sound alright. He took me to another hospital and they said i had malaria. Very disappointed that HRI didn't check for this despite me mentioned i had returned from India. I have written a letter to the doctor to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone again.

A second visit was needed to come to HRI, my relative was here yesterday but chemist closed and prescription not transferable

Staff are nice but sometimes rushed. The waiting times are sometimes long

Staff are brilliant. Everytime i go, they are ready to help me out
