Poor appointment system and communication
I originally had an appointment with the GP who then referred me to the HRI for further examinations. After that appointment at the HRI, I had to wait 6-8 weeks for another appointment and called after 8 weeks - they had forgotten to send my information to the consultant. I then received a letter to say that everything was fine, but wasn't offered an appointment. I called again and was told I would have to wait 10 to 12 weeks for that appointment - I waited and after 10 weeks I was told to call another number to make a booking. Why don't they just tell you where to call? My first GP appointment was in october and the next appointment (the one I have been waiting for all this time) is in October this year - one year!
