Positive experience

Easy enough to get appointments. I ring up and not usually left waiting long. I have seen a lot of doctors and nurses and always had a positive experience with them and both sent for tests , theyr'e pretty much 'on the ball' with all of that . They listen, involve me and I don't feel rushed at my appointment.

Excellent for getting appointments. I ring up at various time in the day and still been offered an appointment. I am not normally kept waiting after my appointment time in the waiting area. Nurses all very good. I see different doctors most times but don't mind and have seen students on placements , they have been excellent too. Access to physio has been very good.

you get a lot of text messages but with no explanation or understand what they are for or to be able to discuss them. It is easy to get an appointment but usually see a different person each time . I have to look online to see who I am going to see and role. I have called up to make the appointment I don't know who i am going to see until I get there , they don't say who they are , their role, but would prefer to know in advance and see the same one as I don't feel they know you and if you are worried about something and get called back or have complex problems it would be better to speak to the same person so i don't have to explain the situation each time , it's frustrating. I know they are busy but they don't look back at my notes , they don't know my history
First time appointment

This is my first appointment and positive experience so far . it was easy enough process to swap over from my old GP. I did it myself. I joined and was sent a text to invite me for an appointment . I rang up and got the appointment , had to wait a while despite being caller 2 in the queue and I don't think it offered a ring back service , this might be because I was second in queue.

Easy to get appointments both over the phone and online and will be seen on the day if it is serious. Never had any issues so generally no concerns.

Receptionists are lovely and ring back when they say they are going to . I have no trouble getting appointments and usually seen within a few minutes after my appointment time. I am given enough time to speak at my appointment and i have seen both doctors and nurses - both being positive experiences.

i have not been at the surgery long and have to wait a while to see a female GP . It can be sometimes 2-3 weeks for the appointment. And I am not always told who I am going to be seeing if it is a doctor , nurse etc. It would help if they let you know who they are and what their role is. I would like to see the same doctor so I don't have to keep explaining myself . It was hard to get registered i tried to do it online and had to chase it up in the surgery and was told there was a backlog . I ended up having to go into the surgery to complete paperwork so the online registration needs looking at

Wonderful , helpful and understanding reception staff - they do the utmost to help us as a family. I generally see the same doctors and so sometimes have to wait to do so for a certain dotor but don't mind the wait. They are all excellent

I phone up to get appointments . i order prescriptions on line but don't get appointments because you have to go through the questions each time on Patchs. i generally see the same doctors but have seen others when this isn't possible . When i see the doctor I feel i am given enough time and have seen the nurses on occassion with no issues.
Long wait times to see GP

I am not a regular attender at the GP surgery, however when I need to see a GP I would hope that I could. I am however now faced with a 5 week wait for a routine GP appointment.!!!!! I think this is absolutely disgraceful. I would expect to wait a couple of weeks for a routine appointment but certainly not 5 weeks.
