Specsavers Opticians Huddersfield (PEARS - Huddersfield)

In addition to providing their usual services, this opticians is also part of the Primary Eyecare and Assessment Referral Service (PEARS); conditions that can be seen under the service include:
• Red eye or eyelids
• Dry Eye or gritty and uncomfortable eyes
• Irritation and inflammation of the eye
• Significant recent sticky discharge from the eye or watery eye
• Recently occurring flashes or floaters
• In growing eyelashes
• Foreign body in the eye

PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A SIGHT TEST

If you have a major eye condition that is being regularly monitored by your optometrist or hospital eye service, this will not be covered by this service, for example, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma.

On-Time. Friendly staff explained every step of the eye test. When I asked about contact lenses, I was given a thorough explanation and told of options available.

Good selection of glasses on 2 for 1. Great initial service but had a few issues collecting my glasses. Wrong ones came at first and had to wait another few weeks. Had to collect the 2 pairs separately.

We are always greeted with a smile and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. As a family, we have all being going for the past few years . The staff are a credit to the company and ensure and take the time you are treated as a individual and not just another number through the door - no matter how busy they are.

Quick and tthorough service

Quick service very thorough -know what they are doing and knowledgable. Staff helped me pick glasses and they were ready quicker than expected. They fitted me in at short notice.
