I had a bad fall near the surgery. Popped in to ask for their help. Janet and Rebecca were so caring and they couldn't have done any more. Thank you so much ladies.

Both times I have called I have spoken to a very helpful receptionist. I was called back and seen by a doctor in the same day. I feel they are all doing a fantastic job under very difficult and different circumstances.

was told to call at 8:30 am to make an appointment and the phones are not getting answered at all at these times

I am sorry that you were not able to get through on the telephone. Over the last 2 years the number of phone calls into the surgery has more than quadrupled and we have employed extra staff to answer the calls. Unfortunately when staff are already answering calls we have no facility within the existing phone system to alert patients to their place in the queue. This means the phone just rings until staff are freed up from calls they are already taking to be able to answer new calls. We are having a new telephone system installed in January 2022 which will allow patients to park their calls and be called back when they reach the front of the queue.
Since May 2021 patients have been able to freely enter the surgery and if any patient is having problems getting through on the phone then we would encourage them to come to the surgery when the doors open at 8.30am in order to book either a face to face or telephone appointment.

As a new patient I have had my health check, flu jab and Covid booster all arranged proactively by the surgery within 9 days of each appointment and within a couple of weeks of my registering.

Both the doctor I saw & the receptionist was fantastic! The receptionist advised she would confirm when my daughters prescription went through, she called me straight away to let me know. The doctor was amazing with my daughter! I’ve not had the best experience previously but today made it for that! I was waiting 2 mins before I got an appointment & was given the 1st available slot.

I was given a telephone appointment the next day after my online request. My health problem was dealt with efficiently, appropriately and with kindness. All staff I came across were helpful and friendly.
