The Sharing and Listening Event will tell you about the work we have all been doing to improve the way we plan, buy and provide services and to see what you think about what we have done and our plans for the future.

 This is part of our commitment to implement the Equality Delivery System (EDS2) across North Kirklees.

We want to make sure that different groups of people have the opportunity to influence our priorities and ensure that we are meeting our duties under the Equality Act 2010.

 The areas we will be focussing on are:

• Better health outcomes for all

• Improved patient access and experience

 With your help, using a tool designed by the Department of Health called the Equality Delivery System, we will measure our equality performance and get your feedback to help us drive equality improvements and strengthen the accountability of services to patients and the public.

 Each organisation will tell you what they have been doing and what their plans are and you will have the opportunity to say what you think is good and where things need improving.

 There will be 4 events run across North Kirklees, Calderdale, Huddersfield and Wakefield, so if you want to attend but cannot make this date please get in touch.
