Have your say on Specialist Contact Lenses Services In Kirklees

NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is committed to continuously improving the healthcare available to all the people living across the district. The CCG commissions a number of community based services, some of which are due to expire on 31st March 2016 and we are now looking at how these services will be provided in the future.

North Kirklees CCG currently commissions Pollards Opticians to provide a contact lens assessment, prescribing, fitting and aftercare service for patients requiring clinically necessary specialised contact lenses within North Kirklees. Patients are referred to the service by a Consultant Ophthalmologist, during 2014/15, 27 patients were referred to the service.
