Regardless of any strike action, it is essential that patients who need urgent medical care continue to seek help as normal, especially in emergency and life-threatening cases – when someone is seriously ill or injured, or their life is at risk.

The latest information we have about the NHS strike timetable can be found below with those affecting our local area in West Yorkshire highlighted.

Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 January:
  • The Royal College of Nursing has called a consecutive two-day strike at 55 hospital or community trusts across England (as well as nurse members who work for some ICBs, NHS Blood and Transplant and NHS Resolution).
