The doctor signs of prescriptions and advises that it will be ready in 3 working days but reality it can be 7 to 10 working days!

Needed an emergency prescription, dealt with efficiently and a v helpful lady dealt with my request as a priority

Waiting times can be over long. This is because they're based in the HC, making them convenient & very busy. However, I often find I am told a waiting time of 15 mins or more that is optimistic. Also they often don't have a full stock of the drugs needed, which means having to go back. Would be much more convenient to be able to take some items from a prescription & complete the prescription elsewhere. Whilst the pharmacy is convenient for the HC it isn't convenient for a return visit on the following day! Staff are very friendly and helpful, though.
