No info provided online. Why would I call?

I am seeking specialist or specific treatment surrounding physio. Web says lots of things you dont do. Yet no care to inform public what they can get help with. Rubbish. I wont be calling.

Hopeless

I was promised an in person appointment several years ago . I have had several tel call s but yet no appointment. I have been told I will be contacted to arrange but it never happens. I have been taken of the books twice for failing to contact them despite being told to wait to their .call. Absolutly hopeless, Very nice on the phone but that’s irritating.

Got referred by my g.p ,took months to get an appointment, when finally got seen face to face ,appointment lasted for 5 mins and was told they will send me a second appointment to have a thorough look at my problem and heard nothing back for over a month so I left messages for the physiotherapist also emailed and still heard nothing back ,another few weeks go by and I get a text message saying I been discharged,on top of bad service they contacted my g.p saying I didn’t attend an appointment so they they discharged me which was not the case ,I have all the records showing they didn’t even bother to return my calls, worse service and staff I have come across in my life.

Rude receptionist

March 30, 2023
Rang on behalf of relative, receptionist answered the phone asking about D.O.B and other personal details. Was then told off as I didn’t have opportunity to tell them it’s on behalf of a relative and I was being told I had breached data protection/confidentiality. If receptionist had answered with an open question such as “how can I help” I would have been able to address that I was ringing on behalf of someone else. Receptionist was very rude about me not addressing this matter even though I had no opportunity to do so. She kept telling me off for breaching confidentiality, but I believe it is due to the way she answered the phone and kept asking for personal details.

Liked that I could self-refer to service.

Initial telephone consultation was followed up by face to face appointment. Communication was excellent as appointments had to be rearranged, delay was disappointing but unavoidable.
When I did get to see the practitioner I had a thorough examination and a plan of treatment to be followed. I was reassured by the skill and knowledge displayed by the practitioner. There was no rush, plenty of time to ask questions and I felt much more positive afterwards.
