Dr Anuj Handa, Huddersfield

I have moved back to Huddersfield after many many years and so happy to see doctor handers son take over the practice I'm very happy with the staff the train helped me anyway they can and I'm very grateful

Always there when I am ill and unwell. I just want to say thank you to the reception team and doctor and nurse for being there for me during this really hard time of illness. I could not ask for a better team of people.

Very unhappy

Most of the time the phone is placed on call forwarding on many occasions I have rang. Clinical staff weak in some aspects of knowledge that is basic, for example paracetomol dose for underweight babies

Was always very happy with senior doctor help and advice, other doctor is just as good

Dr Handa is very knowledgeable and is very thorough in what he does.

Friendly and very Helpful. Nurses are extremely good, kind and patient.

Doctor was rude. Stares at his computer when talking to patients. Doesnt seem to engage in conversation. I feel like he is discriminating against me.

Expedited appointments and clarified what was happening at hospital when the time came and visited my mum in hospital. Could not ask for a better and caring doc and practice

I as a patient of Dr S Handa would like to comment on the service I have had over a 25 year period. We lived localy in Fixby and had three children with all the usual problems that a family of five have over the many years. However the concern, he has always shown his knowledge, aptitude, and sheer professionalism it really has been a pleasure to have had a such an extremely kind gentle doctor, one could have ever wished for. Also I believe the facilities in the surgery are far better than most.
Although Dr Handa senior is near retirement I have now found his son who is taking over from his father to be very much like father like son, may he go on and be as successful and admired as much as his father. The Fixby and Fartown area are very lucky to have such a caring team it has also been nice to see the same doctor on each visit and not a different one as is in some other surgeries. As you can see a very happy patient but who does not, like most people going to the doctors but a pleasure when needed too.
