bureaucracy At its best!

First they don’t answer the phone, they don’t reply or call back to online consultation forms for a long time. Basically impossible to get in touch with a gp at this point. Receptionists are extremely rude and speak in a demeaning manner. Even when you speak to receptionists in a calm and mannered way, they talk back in a nasty tone. Not friendly at all. Only good thing about the practice, is the nice nurse who probably does all the hard work.

My partner has been waiting 5 days now for a call back. He has rung numerous times every day while waiting and he gets us ' your on the list today' he has even been to the surgery to see and they say your on the list for early morning call...... still nothing. I appreciate the current covid climate but 5 days is totally not on.

You are able to get an appointment generally very quickly. If is an efficient practice, however, as it has changed hands in the last couple of years, it is less personal than it used to be.

I have a severe allergy to penicillin and I was prescribed medication containing it despite my allergy being "red flagged" on the GP computer system. I noticed myself and rang the chemist for advice and as a result, I did not take any of the medication. I reported the surgery team, heard nothing since.

They do everything. They hadn't taken my blood pressure in a while and rang me up. Quick appointments

From the second you walk jnto the practice there is a caring atmosphere. It is professional , but also relaxing and efficient.
