In addition to providing their usual services, this opticians is also part of the Primary Eyecare and Assessment Referral Service (PEARS); conditions that can be seen under the service include:
• Red eye or eyelids
• Dry Eye or gritty and uncomfortable eyes
• Irritation and inflammation of the eye
• Significant recent sticky discharge from the eye or watery eye
• Recently occurring flashes or floaters
• In growing eyelashes
• Foreign body in the eye

PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A SIGHT TEST

If you have a major eye condition that is being regularly monitored by your optometrist or hospital eye service, this will not be covered by this service, for example, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy or glaucoma.

Excellent staff and service

Excellent staff, brilliant service.
I couldn't have asked for better service from this opticians, I didn't have my eyes tested here and visited to simply see if there were some glasses I fancied at the right price.
The service from the beginning was outstanding taking the time to help me choose the right frames, and supporting me with the best offer and cost. When I encounter an issue with my old frames they swooped in and sorted it out with no problem I can't thank them enough. Thanks you, smiley helpful humans. I would recommend here.

five star fantastic service from the optician. Had a very comprehensive eye examination. Felt very comfortable and safe. Cannot fault the quality and professionalism shown to me, staff were absolutely fabulous in helping choose my new pair of glasses and made sure they fitted .I wholeheartedly recommend hanson optician in Mirfield. ten out of ten.

Book for an eye examination with a view of purchasing new glasses. Superb professional service .the staff there esp are fantastic. Fun and chatty males, visiting Hanson's opticians a unique and wonderful experience. Great price for my glasses. Very impressive. Highly recommended this opticians practice
