went into Lepton Surgery and requested it from the receptionist. Three days later the chemist still hadn't received it, so I went into the surgery again to find that they hadn't progressed it, so they would make sure it was put through as a priority. Another three days pass and still it's not at the chemist, so I have to make a third visit to the surgery to request them to expedite it again.
It should not take three visits to get a repeat prescription. This suggests that the management system for repeat prescriptions there is failing.
I am very sorry that you appear to have had problems obtaining getting your prescription processed, this in not our usual procedure. Usually the only reason is normally if you are due for a medication review that we cannot process your request. If you would like to give me some details I would be more than happy to look into the matter.
