Hospital reconfiguration awarded funds of £22 million

December 11, 2018

Last year local councillors asked Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group (GH CCG) to look for alternative funding options (other than a PFI deal) for the Right Care, Right Time, and Right Place reconfiguration.

In December 2018, the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) have awarded the proposed plans £22 million.

The West Yorkshire and Harrogate Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) is made up of local health and care organisations working together across the region, with the aim to support changes needed to improve health services for the 2.6 million people who live in the West Yorkshire area. In addition to boosting health facilities across England and offering major investment in the long-term future of the NHS.
