KIRKLEES COUNCIL SENSORY SERVICES IS NOW ON SKYPE

November 23, 2016

Kirklees Council’s Sensory Services team have come up with an innovative way of delivering their service, improving access to support for local Deaf people.

The team have launched a Skype service which means Deaf people can talk to Sensory Services about health and social care using British Sign Language (BSL), through a pre-booked Skype appointment without leaving their house.

This new service is an alternative to a phone call or face to face appointments for a Deaf person whose first language is BSL.

Skype appointments can be arranged by texting 07786 202419.
For more information call 01484 414767, email sensory.services@kirklees.gov.uk, or watch their BSL video below
