Mental Health Service User Forum

November 26, 2015

Touchstone in Kirklees have been talking about getting a Mental Health service user forum off the ground; they are about to start doing this and want to give service users of mental health services the opportunity to share their views about this.

In partnership with the Mental Health Partnership Board and the Mental Health Provider Forum, Touchstone have created a survey to ask people what they would like to get out of a service user forum and how it should work.

They have set up a few small ‘post boxes’ that, along with hard copies of the survey, that will be placing in hubs such as Folly Hall and the Priestley Unit, so look out for these if you are there. Touchstone advocates will also be sharing the survey with Kirklees people currently on hospital wards.

Here is an online version of the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NHXQ5F2 If you’re interested, please take the time to fill this in, and share it as widely as you can so that as many service users as possible can feed into the design of the group.

If you have any queries, please get in touch with Touchstone in Kirklees on 01924 460211.
