Sometimes waiting is longer than appointment

I sometimes ring and the appointments can be long wait. I think I will be either iller or better whilst I wait 2 weeks.
But on the whole the NHS is good.

"The only doctors in the village"

I was a patient at this practice for over 20 years, and only realised how mediocre its service was after I moved... It is the only GP practice in Marsden, so almost everyone registers there, and I wonder if it has made them a bit complacent...?
The reception staff and practice nurses are pleasant, professional and skilled. Unfortunately, the GPs do not always seem to me to be, and I would suggest seeing a practice nurse rather than a doctor, if possible. I have two significant chronic health conditions which remained undiagnosed by the Marsden doctors, who treated me like a hypochondriac throughout 8+ consultations over more than a year. When I moved, my new GP identified problems straightaway, and referred me to hospital consultants who have confirmed the diagnoses that the Marsden doctors missed. In my experience, you need to gather your own information and be very confident, because you can't rely on good care from these doctors.
