I don't go often but when i ring up for an appointment i can be caller 20 in the queue and when it gets down to 5th I'm told there's no more appointments left that day. I finally got an appointment and was sent for blood tests but not had the results. But once you get in to see the doctor they are very nice.

Unorganised mess

pharmacy is a mess, always packed with staff but nobody helping, surgery is grubby and old looking
receptionists dont have a clue what's going on
can never speak to a manager without a snooty response

The pharmacy is a separate business from the GP practice and therefore are not responsible for the state of their business.
As for the comments you have made about the GP building, I can assure you that it has recently been decorated, and there are further plans in progress to decorate the rest of the building.
If you have any problems or issues with the staff, then they need to be brought to the attention of a manager by using the correct process. The best process to do this is to send an email to: cleckheaton.grouppractice@nhs.net

Appointment system does not meet needs

No face to face appointments after 3 oclock. Doors shut at 6! Always sent to walk in centre. Nurses and receptionsts are amazing!

Our appointment system is set up so that those people with urgent medical needs are seen on the day.
If you have ongoing symptoms, or need a routine appointment, then you can book this via our online consultation portal, Systm Online, or by calling the surgery.
If you need help to access any of these portal, please do let us know.

Absolutely Disgusted

On time for an appointment waited nearly 15 mins for receptionist as she was booking in patients. Then tell us we're late so will have to make another appointment, told her booking in screen not working response was I don't know about that, disgusting.

Rubbish!!!!

The nursing team are amazing, especially Joanne, who I think may have left. Reception rude and when you go to the doctors you expect them to care not look at you like you have put them out of their day by attending!!! Am in the process of changing doctors. Never been as disappointed

The rec. staff are rude, obstructive, condescending and incompetent... After several bad experiences I will be leaving asap...

Merged and unmanageable

Merged with another practice - so it's now unmanageable. Can't see named GP - have to wait over a month. Wife has mental health and there is no continuity of care.
Repeat prescriptions not ready after.

The length of time for the appointment has always been a problem for everyone - the surgery tried solving it with more doctors, but this just increases the flow of people. I personally have no problems.
