Brookroyd Surgery

I made 4 attempts and have been on hold / stuck in a loop for 15, 7, 7 and 2 mins between 11:54 and 12:25 today 06/02/2024.
Each time I have made it to number 1 in the queue to be in the loop for several more minutes so have felt no choice but to hang up.
I feel the issue is the telephone system rather than staff not being available to answer as I wouldn’t have been progressing through the queue.
It’s extremely frustrating that the only way on contacting the surgery is by telephone.

Staff are brilliant

There is only one member of the practice here that I would rather not see, but the rest great listeners, understanding to the problems or complaints I have had.

Since moving to Yorkshire 38 years ago I have used this practice always been very satisfied

The online booking system was easy and accessible. The surgery was clean and the Doctors were good too. The doctor was easy to approach and very attentive. The only issue I had was that it was hard to reach them through the phone.

Never had any problems with doctors or most nurse. Staff are good and knowledgeable. The new pharmacist strives to review medication when reordering and find at times when ordering you denied medication as it is say you recieved it mid month and you re order at the end of the month your denied as you have 14 days tablets left. This caused me at the beginning stress by forgetting to order on time and not run out

Can get appointments OK. Referred to specialities when needed.

Good reception, appiotments kept on time , felt that the service was good and got the information I needed

Can usually get same day appointment, or within the week if you want a more popular GP. All reception staff very friendly and admin staff willing to help with queries (best leaving details of particular enquiry with staff and then ring to find out if they have an answer)

Difficult to make appointments because I cannot make telephone calls. I go to the centre at 7:30 and have to wait until I am seen
