difficulty getting an appointment

It's not easy to get an appointment here if you want to be seen face to face. I was given a letter by my gynaecologist that clearly said I needed to be seen by the GP and I still had a struggle on my hands to be seen.
I feel it shouldn't be that difficult and frustrating.

Difficult to book an appointment

I seem to always struggle to book an appointment - the phone line is always so busy and then when it is answered you have to really push to be seen. They offer telephone consultations but if you want to be seen in person you have to really battle for it.
Left waiting a long time

Waiting on the phone for the call to be answered can take a really long. If I want to see my regular GP I am left for a really long time, sometimes up to a month.
Happy with e consult service

I used the e- consult service for my son and was called back by a GP almost immediately.
Hold time on the phone is very long so that's why I prefer to use the online service.

I am satisfied with the service. The Doctors are caring. I would prefer more face to face appointments as I am often told that telephone consultations are all that is available.
Busy phone line

The phone line is always extremely busy and I am left waiting a long time to get through.
When I use the e-consult online I don't get a quick response, so I don't find it useful.

Friendly good service

I am happy here, it's friendly good service. The doctors are good at explaining things clearly and giving good diagnoses.
An extra assistant on the phones would be useful as I find the time it takes for calls to be answered too long but that's my only bug bear.

My dr has gone above and beyond with my care, I honestly can’t thank him enough.
Impossible to get an appointment when needed

In the event I can get in to see a doctor on the day (no future ‘bookings’ are allowed) I always get the locum or nurse practitioner. I have never had a doctor I know or any consistency, ever. The living tend to google search everything which I can do myself! You also have to explain the issues to the receptionist and are then at their mercy as to whether you can get to see a doctor. The other issue I have had is being prescribed medication that is impossible to get. This has happened quite frequently and the doctors are unaware of the issues. You have to update them.

Good customer care, able to see other healthcare professionals rather than a doctor giving more appointment options convenient to me
