Really bad experience with dentist
Takes under 3 mins to check my teeth and send me on my way even though I have bleeding and swollen gums.

Was told by another dentist elsewhere that my dental issues would have been stopped early with a scale and polish regularly but they never did one in all the many years of going there.
My issues lasts over 4 years! Every time I was sent on my way with the bill and a bad experience.

Scale and polishes need to be done when people have issues!
I even asked and he said I don't need it even though I had those issues. Really poor.

Before two recent visits to this practice I would not have recommended it to anyone because my previous experiences were unpleasant. However, one dentist changed my opinion through his thoughtfulness and professionalism. I will recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist who ensures a visit to a dental clinic is not a nightmare..

I have never gotten a scale and polish here in all the years I have gone and after a few years I started getting bleeding gums.
He still didn’t clean my teeth! I then got sent to a dental hospital who were shocked I hadn’t been given a scale and polish as that could have helped they said.
He looks in my mouth for 2 mins max then says it’s all ok. Every time.

My appointments was always available but within the last year my appointments have been cancelled 4 times. I used to be seen once every 3 months and have not been seen in the last year. I am currently pregnant and should have free dental care once every 6 months.

Slightly overbearing nature of advice. Way in which this is delivered requires review. Could be off putting to other members of the public

Staff are alright

I visited the practice for some dental treatments. To my surprise I was informed by a receptionist that I had been stricken off their list for missing two appointments. The reason for failing my appointment was the fact that my wife had died and my memory was malfunctioning. This happened in 2017.

Always have to wait, they don't stick to appointment times. Also as far as I know part of a checkup is scale and polish but I have to request this and then doesn't do it thoroughly

The dentist explains about the treatment in advance of carrying it out - this works particularly well with children
