Incorrect phone information/ lack of doctors

I sat listening to the recorded message for 20 minutes, whilst waiting to ask a question, offering the option to book an appointment online, when I got to talk to the receptionist, no such option is available. When I queried this and asked why the message offered something that doesn’t exist I got no answer.
We still have to call at 8:00 for an appointment, even if the matter is routine. I know no of one who has got to see a doctor routinely, it’s always nurse practitioners. I even begin to doubt that doctors even exist in the surgery!
As for non urgent appointments, the wait can be weeks . It’s just frightening.

Getting an afternoon appointment

I work days start at 0730 & drive a lorry can’t take phone appointments due to driving can’t afford to take time off during day due to low wage need appointment’s later in the day receptionist I spoke to was very unhelpful I needed an appointment late in the day on the 8th of Nov 2023 earlier isn’t an option not very helpful are you to people who have to work I find it pathetic
Dreadful since covid

Are used to really like this practice. Since Covid, I’ve been unable to get an appointment including Monday last week. When I was in extreme pain, I was asked to diagnose myself as to whether this was a medical emergency.

Can't get an appointment. I am in a meeting every morning at 8.00. To sit and wait 30 minutes plus at that time I would have to ask for time off and work it back. Disgusting

I've never had an issue getting an appointment or being seen face to face. Caring doctors and admin team.

You are asked to ring up at 8 am but by the time you get through the appointments have gone so you have to ring again the next day You do eventually get an appointment but I am not very good with on line and prefer to book by phone, it's nicer to speak to someone and have the personal approach

for years this surgery has been unable to cope with the volume of calls and patients that need to use the surgery, it is now unacceptable in this day and age that you cannot make an appointment for a date in the future for none emergency, same dy appointments and instead have to join the stupidly long clues from 8.00am on the telephone. If you do manage to get through, there is the rude and belligerent receptionist to get past and they speak to you like they just cannot be bothered.

The practice reception is always helpful and the GP take extra time to explain things. Lovely people to deal with.

I would like better communication with the gp surgery. They frequently cancel appointments with little or no notice.
