Good and bad

They actually listen to me. I go with my brother who has additional needs and they listen to me when I tell them what mood he is in. See nurse too for blood checks and they're very understanding. Sometimes struggled with doctors understanding autistic spectrum disorders. Sometimes look at you like you've got 3 heads.
Sometimes hard to get an appointment

Ok if you can get appointment. Have to make appointment on the day and everyone else is calling at same time. Once when I needed urgent appointment they got me in.
Fantastic doctors especially dr napper

Always thorough and never made to feel like a visit to the doctors is a waste of time to them.
Good care, difficult to get through on phone

My GP is excellent, I get really good care, but sometimes when seeing other doctors it's not as good.
Often difficult to get through on the phone in the morning. I once had to make 64 attempts to get through before even being able to join the queue. I'm not saying this is just a problem for my GP practice, I think it's a problem for many of them. Not everyone is able to book online so it's not fair when all the appointments seem to have been booked before I can even get through on the phone.
Some receptionists are good, some think they are GP's - they want to know all the details about my problems and I don't want to tell them.
One receptionist is absolutely fantastic. Sometimes when I ring up and I'm distraught she stays on the phone with me until she's made sure I'm OK.

The care is really good with all of the doctors. I am able to see the doctor I want.
Needs redecorating

The receptionists are good but difficult to get through to the surgery on the telephone. Doctors are good even though some are temporary. There is no private area in reception and it looks shabby, needs redecorating. The colour is green it is like sitting in snot! There are no nappy changing facilities.
Can't get to see names GP - ever!

Can get an appointment but never with named GP who's meant to know me and my health condition. I have a long term health condition and would like to see the same doctor.

Nhs staff let down by support functions

Staff don't phone back when they say they will, refuse to even speak to you on a Saturday and refuse to provide an email address to complain to. I thought this was 2016!

Used the surgery for a long time for Health MOTs, nurse appointments, everyone looks after me very well. Staff are very good.
