Doctors are good

Doctors are great. Not good attitude from other staff. Often fully booked at 8am (when they feel like it). Attitude from receptionists doesn't help. They shouldn't be in a job like that if they're not going to be helpful.

Good advise. Waiting time could be better

Doctors are really good but they don't have enough doctors to cope with the amount of people living in Mirfield. Can sometimes wait an hour to be seen which is difficult to fit in when you're working.

Understaffed

Making appointments can be difficult. There's a new online system which is good for repeat prescriptions but there are no appointments to book for 2-3 weeks, and the appointments are always with nurse practitioners rather than doctors. I still have to ring up and don't always get an appointment for the same day. The service is generally good once you get in.

Happy with nurses but stop changing doctors

The doctors seem to change. You get used to one and they leave. I'm happy with the nurses as I come regularly to have blood tests. I can get in when I want.

A good health centre

Overall it's a good health centre always willing to help. A bit hard to get an appointment but it's getting better.

I saw a female doctor, she was nice and kind. She explained what she was doing. I waited a reasonable time to be seen.

Fantastic service

The service has improved massively over the past year. Lots more appointments, caring doctors (especially the new ones) and is well run.

I phoned Mirfield Health Centre to see if I could book an appointment. Unfortunately they were fully booked. Approx a half hour later I received a phone call from the same receptionist offering us an appointment that had come free at teatime. I didn't take the receptionists name but would like to say thank you. It's nice to know people care.
