Never had an issues at the surgery and have always been seen when needed.
Consistent care
December 10, 2024
My diabetes is well managed by the diabetes nurse, she has turned my life around. However, I have another chronic illness which is not well managed. I am seen by a different clinician at each appointment who seems to have not read my medical notes and are aware of my chronic illness. I feel that for people with long-term health conditions should be managed by the same clinician as consistency is important.
Excellent care

Excellent care, nice staff in reception. Only thing that could be better is magazines in the waiting room.
Health practitioners, limited care
December 10, 2024
The health practitioners are friendly and helpful, but they cannot provide the same level of care as a GP. It's concerning that there are times when there are no GPs on site, leaving me with limited options for medical advice.
Don’t feel listened to
December 10, 2024
I don’t always feel like I am listened to either by the receptionist on the phone when trying to book an appointment or by the doctor during an appointment. On one occasion about 12 months ago I was very unwell and I called to make an urgent appointment and told the receptionist what my symptoms were. But I was told there were no appointments and to call again he following day. My symptoms got worse so I went to A&E and they found I had a septic infection.
Out of hours appointments
December 10, 2024
Not enough appointments available out of work times, which means I need to book time off or I avoid coming until the issues is much worse and I can no longer avoid it.
Appointments not long enough
December 10, 2024
All staff are friendly but I'm often left waiting to be seen for a long time after my appointment time was due and appointments aren’t long enough.
lack of GP consultation
December 10, 2024
I have been experiencing recurring UTI infections every 2-3 weeks for the last 6 months. Each time, I am asked to provide a sample and then prescribed antibiotics. Despite discussing the issue with a healthcare practitioner, I have never been seen by a GP. I would have expected that after six months of this ongoing problem, there would be a system in place to flag the need for a GP appointment.
When I have requested to see a doctor, I am told that a UTI can be treated without a GP consultation. Despite asking them to review my history over the past six months, I am consistently denied an appointment with a doctor and given another prescription. I have had to insist repeatedly to be seen by a GP, hoping to get to the root cause of why the issue keeps recurring.
