Considerate doctors

I was on the waiting list for a surgery when my health started to deteriorate.
I requested the doctor and my surgery was carried out on an urgent basis.

They try and give the best care possible by listening to all the problems and treating patients with respect.

The staff were very helpful, kind and considerate of my condition.
Regarding the current circumstances with the pandemic, they were adhering to all safety measures and were socially distanced.

Waste of an appointment, time and cost

Husband attended audiology appointment by referral from GP about hearing problems. The appointment came quickly within a week which was good. On arrival at the appointment the staff member said they couldn't do the hearing test due to wax build up and this would need to be sorted before the test could be performed. He was given a letter to take back to GP's to sort this out first. This seems a real waste of time, for my husband, the hospital, the administration department when he had been referred from GP. Either the GP needs to make sure that this isn't an issue before asking the patient to attend or the department needs to perform the ear syringing if it is an issue. Not very streamless service- how many times is this happening. My husband had to take time from work and pay parking costs and still needed to go back at some point in the future to sort the issue. Not well thought out. I would have given 2.5 stars if i could.

Excellent service at the Xray department

We were required to go for an xray and were told there was a drop in service. We arrived and were seen within 5 minutes. The process was very efficient and easy. We were in and out within 25 minutes. Fantastic

I always have to wait at A&E a long time. When I get through the doctors see me for 1-2 mins. I can't speak English well. There should be someone to speak my language

Fast . Efficient

Fast, efficient caring staff. Took the time to explain treatment to me and then explained all the results. Very reassuring as I was nervous. Very happy with the service provided.

Rosewood Centre

I attend a bereavement group once a month at the Rosewood Centre. It is on an evening so convenient for me and helped me a lot

Long wait

I had to wait a long time for my operation as I had been turned away due to my blood pressure. I have also been given wrong medication when I was in hospital. I cannot fault the nurses they were excellent.
