E consult is easy enough for me

I do a combination of e consult and calling up as I am often kept waiting when I call . E consult is easy enough for me . The surgery at Bradley is closed and for those less able this is not as convenient for them, particularly crossing the busy road, here as at keldregate, it was more more convenient as the bus service is to the door . If they had kept it open but kept flexible and more limited appointments , people could fit in with the revised arrangements.

I prefer E consult

When I need an appointment I am always given one. I like to use E consult so I don't have to wait for a long time to get an appointment, today I called and it was quick to get through but I prefer E consult, but before if a child was poorly I could use it at anytime but now i have to wait until 8.30am . Sometimes I have to wait a long time in the surgery if it's busy .

Always listened to me and helped

I have never been told I can't have an appointment. I rang up and spoke to someone on the phone and then I was asked to come in so I can't complain as they have always listened to me and helped .It is sometimes busy in the surgery and so you can be kept waiting but sometimes a person needs a longer time.

Telephone system improved vastly

There are new doctors and i am not sure where the other doctors are, they vanished and not told about the changes. I tried E consult and it works sometimes but it asks so many irrelevant questions , the appointment I made for today was not one of the categories listed so I called up for an appointment instead. Waiting time not often kept waiting and more or less seen on time

My experience at the surgery is variable as sometimes I am kept waiting and once for over an hour. Staff are helpful . I make my appointments over the phone and it is very good lately, this has improved recently. Some doctors have left but in general I am happy with what they have done for me.

I usually get appointments with the nurse and come each week at the moment and make them when i am at the surgery which is more convenient for me . I don’t often have to wait long for my appointment but when it’s busy I’m not kept waiting too long .

Very poor patient care

Very poor patient care, using Covid as an excuse to do the bare minimum. No follow up calls, appointments being cancelled. There is no care provided here.

Excellent service

Having moved to Birkby and having a bad experience even just trying to register with 2 local surgeries Fartown were amazing - quickly registered able to get oncall GP to call me that day for emergency meds due to poor service 2mtth failed delayed registrations and no appointments for 8wks at other surgeries.
The reception, oncall GP and practice nurse were amazingly helpful I then arranged a routine new patient appointment with an ANP at their other surgery and again amazing!! She was pleasant, personal and quickly dealt with my issues including a referral all those involved from start to finish are a credit to the surgery!! No complaints from me and as a clinician myself, I was very impressed with their professionalism and above and beyond service to help me.

Reception staff very helpful

I tried to get an appointment but they were full but doctor rang asked questions and I got an appointment later that day. They were really helpful but sometimes when I go I have to wait a long time to be seen after my appointment time. Reception staff very helpful and listen.
