Slaithwaite Health Centre

I visited my GP several times last year initially with chest pain. Several avenues were explored over a series of visits. My GP showed the highest levels or care and concern on each occasion. After much persistence (hers!) I was eventually diagnosed with a stomach tumour. My Gp was totally "with me " throughout my entire journey back to health, for which i will always be eternally grateful . An outstanding service.

From the receptionists to the gp’s I can’t speak highly enough of them

Hate the 8am call for an apt protocol. It doesn’t not suit people who work and have kids to get to school, then when you ring it’s hard to get an apt. I realise some surgeries operate like this now though! They do generally run on time which is great. A couple of the reception staff are rude and unwelcoming but good customer service means a lot to me! And a couple of the nurses could be more helpful and understanding when you have to bring young kids along...as if it’s not hard enough for the Mum anyway without being frowned upon! All gp’s that we’ve seen are fab

Usually on time, generally easy to get an appt. Friendly staff. Had one incident but care and staff are generally okay.

Absolutely brilliant with me. Friendly team and approachable.

Doctors will talk to you- they tell you what is wrong no punches pulled. They sort you out.
Happy with district nurse and chiropody service too.

Some doctors brilliant, some less so. Very supportive individually

I have moved from London to this area and the care here is much better than i received in my previous doctors

Always feel like i am looked after, its not like it used to be as i always saw the same doctor now i can see different ones
