Vaccination centres

I am very grateful for the vaccination programme. However I would not use Cathedral House again. The first problem was having to give car number which I never know. Second was that I was challenged about my eligibility, which had not been challenged when booking. The supervisor was called across and called me darling - I felt this was inappropriate as if I had called her darling I could have been in trouble . When I challenged her she became curt and was certainly dismissive. I wasn't told which vaccine , batch number or what possible side effects were. As an addendum I was referred to as matey on my way into the car park which also demonstrated lack of training.

As yet no record of my booster has appeared on my nhs app. & I need it to travel

I had mine in March and then the second one here all the staff were absolutely brilliant but the site of the clinic was appalling not for us patients but for the vaccinators who were sited in a cold draughty tunnel with breeze lock walls disgraceful to expect people to work in those circumstances

Dropped off my mum-in-law at Cathedral House for her booster jab. This was carried out on the first floor (previous vaccinations were done on the ground floor). She has problems with her hips and knees and even though she visibly walks with a stick no-one asked her about her mobility and directed her to use the stairs - she wasn't aware there was a lift as its situated in a different part of the building. She struggled up the stairs, tripped half way up and also told me that the hand-rail doesn't run all the way up the staircase. I would have expected more to have been in place to support people to use an alternative to the stairs - especially as the boosters are specifically for those who are vulnerable or over 50 and therefore a higher chance of needing support.

All the staff are fantastic, the volunteers, security, fire service, nurses everyone that was involved, both times everyone was fantastic and work hard to keep ques down, making sure they can do everything possible to help/aid you and keeping everyone safe.

The staff at John Smith Stadium were extremely friendly and made you feel at ease, answered all questions and eased all fears. Cant praise the service enough.

Well organised, efficient and friendly although the actual vaccination experience was a little rough compared with the first vaccination.

Welcomed by members of staff. Given clear directions. Everything was organised well. Good hygiene in place.
