Good service, but still waiting for physio

Appointment for musculoskeletal department came through quickly, scan arranged and appointment was quick. Follow up appointments referral for physio, still waiting for an appointment approx 3 months later

Surgical outpatient appointment

Check in was quick but not enough information about where to find the area I needed.
Staff in outpatients were very kind and caring.
Parking is expensive.

Go and order my shoes twice per year. Always pleasent ready to serve kind and efficient.

Went in for X-rays

I went in for some x-rays, I had to wait for over 3 hours. When it was my turn they did not apologise for the delay.

Discharged too early

I was in hospital a few weeks ago because of stomach problems. I was not feeling very well but the doctors discharged me after a day. I still don't think they took me seriously

Some days it's good but weekends it's busy

I have to regular go into HRI, it's a good hospital but some days like weekends are busy. I think the staff are overworked. I think they should invest in more nurses and doctors

I found that the staff at HRI were helpful when they had time. Most of the time they were busy rushing around. During my stay I had one meal but it was too much for me as I was not able to eat much due to a poor appetite. I think they should offer yoghurt and small snacks.

I've been to HRI for an operation. The hospital was clean and nice. The appointments are on time and the staff always try to help. I was lost once and the staff took their time to direct me to the right place

Why can't I see the same consultant?

I have been told the department of Urology a number of times for the same condition but each time I go there is a different consultant but my letter says I am going to see the same doctor. It's really frustrating because they suggest different medicines and different approaches when i just want to see the same consultant I started with.
Plus it's in the basement and the decor could do with a lick of paint.
