I cannot fault the service at the practice both at batley and chickenley. I have had so many appointments due a very bad leg wound which needs regular cleaning sterilising and new dressings applied.the nursing staff are all exceptional but extra praise to kylene who has treated is treating me more regularly. The attitude ,professionalism and patient care is extremely high.also I have to praise the doctors and all reception staff as well who are all making my health journey much much easier. Ten out of ten faultless

Staff all good. I only came a couple of times but nothing wrong with the surgery in my experience. I found it easy to get appointments on line, booking for general GP appointments, but if i need a specific person I will call up, so maybe online could be a bit more user friendly by giving a guide to help them decide on who to contact if not sure if it is a nurse or doctor you need to see, then I would not need to bother reception staff with a telephone call to ask. I do not know about social prescribing at the surgery.

I am always looking around reading all the information that is in reception. They are all helpful when I ring up and the nurses are very patient and kind when taking my blood.

Nurses and Doctors all very good

They are good, not been with them very long. I ring up to get my appointments and they are all very helpful, myself I don't have a clue about going online to do it. Nurses and Doctors all very good .

Appointment with same doctor

I am not always offered an appointment with the same doctor he is always busy, but If i can get to see a regular doctor it would be better as seeing different doctors means I have to repeat all my history. When I do see him he is good and gets things done straight away.

Thank you for taking time to provide your feedback on our service. You can always get an appointment with your regular gp but sometimes this can mean waiting a little longer. If you can wait then please inform the patient services adviser and they will arrange that for you.

Very rare I can get an appointment

Very rare I can get an appointment- takes 3-4 weeks to see a doctor and can take 3 weeks for a blood test. I can't get online and prefer to book in person . I also would prefer not to have to share my personal information with the receptionist.

It is unusual for patients to have to wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment and I would be interested in hearing more about your issues. Please ask to speak to the Practice Manager when you are next in the surgery. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of your particular issue.

Disabled access and lift

When i phone up I have always been able to get an appointment, sometimes I get through straight away , other times I have to wait a little while. Sometimes reception staff are helpful - sometimes not , it depends who you get on the phone. Doctors are all fine , I like to see the same one but I have been to them all , the one i see the most i have to ring in a morning or wait a few days or if not see someone else. I don't access to online services and wouldn't know where to start. Walking and access to the building is good, they have disabled access and a lift. No one has spoken to me about social prescribing . Nurses are all good but I don't see them as much.

Nice doctors

Nice doctors, always do regular checks and update on everything, but it would be better if you could get appointments and prescriptions easier and over the phone as I am an older person and struggle.

We do offer these types of appointments but are only suitable for certain conditions/symptoms. I would love to discuss this further with you. If you would like to take this offer up please call the surgery to arrange a telephone appointment with the Practice Manager.

Always managed to get an appointment

I have always managed to get an appointment and the only thing that lets them down is on reception, staff can be rude sometimes. As long as I ring up in a morning I have always managed to get an appointment.
