Staff and Doctors always help
March 22, 2024
Staff and Doctors always help. If it's important they deal with it straight away. There is some waiting time on phone for appointments and advice so once ended up going to A&E, but they are monitoring me at the surgery .
Could improve on appointments
March 22, 2024
They could improve on appointments . I have to ring up at 8 am which can take a long time. I would like to come in and ask for an appointment but I am told no you have to ring up , when working this can be very difficult to do and time consuming. I don't go online for appointments. It is sometimes 2-3 weeks to get an appointment with the nurse. The staff and doctors are all brilliant, it' just the issues with appointments as i prefer to see people fact to face so would like the option of this being more elderly.
Staff are always helpful

Staff are always helpful. I don't come a lot but have no problem getting an appointment . I usually ring up and they have also started confirming the appointment by email or text message which is helpful for me. I get whoever is available which is fine for me.

I have been coming to the surgery a long time, they are all helpful and check up on my long term conditions. I see the nurses and doctors to monitor my health conditions

I don't come often but I can access information on line . I don't know what the social prescribing service is.

If you can't get an appointment here you can go to the other surgery in Chickenley, but this can be too far for some people but not a problem for me. It can be difficult when you are working to get an appointment if you are having to call up in a morning and wait in a queue as sometimes it is a long wait .

Sometimes it's a little difficult to get an appointment but if you ring in a morning you normally can get in that same day. I try to see the same doctor as I like to see the same one and the staff help me to do that. Staff are fine , Doctors are excellent. I don't see the nurses often but they are good . No concerns
Getting an appointment is the biggest gripe

Getting an appointment is the biggest gripe. Best thing is you can book them online but these appointments go really fast. Online gives you a 10day window so can usually get one with that. I sometimes see a nurse which is monitoring more than anything, like regular appointments for blood test, I rarely need to see the doctor.
I use the booking in system so don't really need to speak to reception but they are helpful if I do. The 3 practice nurses work on rotation so they get to know me and my health conditions and I know them all. I have no concerns but when I do make an appointment I will still get reminders

I always mange to get an appointment when I ring up in a morning and find it easier to do this as I don't have a clue about booking them online and would struggle with it. I use the checking in screen when I come to the surgery so don't really see the reception staff Doctors are all ok , no faults with them. I try to ask for the same doctor which is usually agreed . I get reminders for check ups and get referrals to the hospital when needed.
Can't fault them

They help me with my mental health and great with our kids. I can't fault them. If needed I get appointments quite easily . If you ring up in a morning you can get in the same day.
